The Problem here

If you want to find out the real instances of religious intolerance in India, your work would be so easy as there our hundreds of instances of it. Talking about the instances like burning alive Stains and his two sons by 50 odd fanatics, more than 3000 Sikhs burnt alive and killed in Delhi and other parts of India, and the killings of Muslims in Gujarat after the Godhra incident are few of those instances. The biggest shock for me is people justifying it and protecting the accusers under political powerhouse umbrella. The main accuse of killing Christian missionary Stains and his sons got life imprisonment in 2011, that is 12 years after the crime. Really shocking, he just got life imprisonment and another shocker is what about the other people involved with him. But the worst shock is for 1984 crime. FIR’s were not lodged by the police under political pressure, how to prove the crime then in court. Some cases survived the political hammer and were lighted in the court but in vain. Nothing came out other than disappointment and injustice, every time when the victims tried. Sajjan Kumar, Jagdish Tytler, Kamalnath some of the many names who have been highlighted for crime but history supports them. Never in this democratic, republic, “secular” country politician ever got death punishment or life imprisonment. Take the example of Jaya Lalitha, Shibu Shoren, Lalu and hundreds of the culprits. On the contrary, they enjoyed position in cabinet ministry, chief minister-ship.

Things are inter related. People ask why the accuse is not getting punishment. How he will get? The people with power, position and money are above law. They even cannot be questioned. With the media houses controlled by corporates funded by political superpowers, I don’t see any ray of hope or silver lining. Politicians have molded law to get their nasty business get straight. The lawyers and judges looks like vultures who are doing everything like knowing the loop holes in the constitution and law and taking advantage of it.

The plight of the Indian farmers is not hidden but people want to ignore it. The other beneficiaries apart from politicians are the dealers or third men(middle men), who buys from the farmers and sells to retailers. This person is everywhere, dealing with LPG gas agencies, raw material buyer and supplier. Buying at so low and selling it soaring high prices, thus giving shock to the end users or consumers. Illegally acquiring lands by real estate goons, black marketing oil, etc and illegal mining at river banks are the other instances of menace directly or indirectly funding government and politicians. The growth is going up but let me tell you it is not stable and is unsustainable. This kind of growth will crash after some time. The farmlands are becoming housing complexes and malls. Where will we get our food is the question no one wants to answer or even ask? The police is the support and savior of thieves, thugs, killers. They are there to create nuisance for innocent law abiding citizens. No regulations over fees structure and increase by the school and college management by the government is making tough for families to educate their children. The other issue is low quality education in such private schools and colleges. The need of taking coaching classes is the extra burden on parents.

Really the state of the nation is in danger.
